New Breeze video: "Take your anti-racist animal rights activism some place else": May 3, 2011 Stanford University Talk

I spoke at Stanford University on May 3, 2011. I talked about my dissertation work, the Sistah Vegan Project, and looking at how race and whiteness operate in certain vegan spaces (literary and physical spaces) in the USA.

  1. Dear Sarai,

I usually can only come out to certain places if I’m paid to come out. I can’t afford to travel any other way. However, I think the use of video skype technology (and similar) could be employed more for organizations who want speakers to talk to their audience, but can’t afford to bring them out. If you know of folk who have a projector, speakers, and video conferencing technology and would like to hear me talk, let me know. My speaking fee is much cheaper than if they would fly me out and put me in a hotel. Anyway, thanks for following my work!
